Established in 2007, the speaker programming, formerly known as the Evening Lecture Series, includes both lectures and symposia, bringing nationally and internationally recognized architects, academics, and allied professionals to NJIT’s Hillier College to discuss their current work and developments in the professions of architecture and design.
The Conversations in Practice series continues to bring noted guests who are educators and leaders in their practices. The Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 Conversation Series is organized by Associate Professors Richard Thompson and Aleksandr Mergold.
Conversations are held on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. in the Weston Gallery, unless otherwise noted, and are free and open to the public. For more information please call (973) 596-3080. The Hillier College of Architecture and Design Conversation Series is registered with the AIA Continuing Education System (AIA/CES) and offers learning units which may be self-reported.
The New Jersey School of Architecture is accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) and is in compliance with all criteria standards.
