Esteemed HCAD alumni make up the Dean's Alumni Council and are represented on the Advisory Board.
Hillier College alumni have varied and successful careers. Some choose to pursue graduate studies, others go to work directly after school. With more than 40 years of students, alumni can be found in different stages of professional development.
Alumni have attended a wide range of outstanding universities for graduate study including NJIT as well as Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, Columbia, Harvard, Pratt, Princeton, Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Rutgers, School of Visual Arts, University of Miami, University of Pennsylvania, Yale, and more. While most students who go to graduate school pursue design-related degrees, a number have chosen to use their undergraduate preparation to attend law school, business school, or get an advanced degree in education.
Hillier College of Architecture and Design graduates can be found in many of the major design firms – big and small. Graduates have worked at Gensler (New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Miami, San Diego and London), Skidmore Owings and Merril, Michael Graves Design Group, VLDG, Snøhetta, MADLAB LLC, SNS Architects, Rich Brilliant Willing, Hampton Forge Ltd., Cambridge Silversmiths, Ran Lerner Design, Curious Yellow, O’Neal Langan Architects, MZ Berger, Movado, SpotCo, GRAFX Co., and many more.
