Kaylin Wittmeyer
I am so grateful for my last four years at NJIT. The students, faculty, and NJIT SIGGRAPH community as a whole really made me feel at home as a Pennsylvanian student. I learned so much— artistically, academically, and professionally— and will treasure the knowledge and memories from my time here forever. I am incredibly excited for the future. I will be attending Sheridan College in Canada this fall with a Fulbright Award, and continuing my digital design education by pursuing a master’s degree in Digital Creature Animation. Balaestra
Balaestra is an original short film concept I created along with Emma Collins. It is a fairytale about how anyone can change the world— and people— around them for the better. I was responsible for writing and storyboarding the film, as well as designing, texturing and modeling the main characters. Emma and I wanted to create a rich world filled with visual storytelling as we worked on the preproduction and early production of the film.
