Being located in a comprehensive Design School in a top research university allowed us to design an undergraduate degree that can be highly customized. That way this degree leads into a series of accelerated graduate degrees such as construction management (BS in Architecture/MS in Civil Engineering), infrastructure planning (BS in Architecture/Master in Infrastructure Planning), management (BS in Architecture/MS in Management; BS in Architecture, MBA), or professional graduate degree in Architecture (BS in Architecture/M.Arch.) leading to licensure.
The first two years of the B.S.Arch. are identical to the B.Arch. allowing students to switch between the two programs. In the first two years students learn the practical skills necessary of architecture but applicable for many other related disciplines such as design methodologies, visual and oral presentation and a full array of digital applications. Students also gain critical thinking skills required for active participation in today’s world: the social, cultural, and ethical framework in which we operate. The following two years can be customized according to the student’s interests in a profession that is expanding into an increasing number of fields and sub-fields.

Curriculum
The curriculum is grounded in professional accreditation requirements. The curriculum is based on a studio model and a project-based learning experience. At the 4th and 5th year students have many options to specialize in an increasingly broad field of architecture.
