Designed as an addition to NJIT’s Architecture and Design School, Warren Street Walk-Thru houses large open studio and circulation spaces for students to work and showcase their art.  The buildings large open concrete floor plates are supported by horizontal glulam louvers spaced 4’-0” apart, these allow for students to have vast studio environments and more flexible configurations when showcasing work.  Light floods through vertical lovers on the exterior of the building, illuminating seminar rooms, lecture halls, and gathering spaces reducing the heating loads and environmental impact.
