I chose this project because the model is still my favorite one out of all the other models I’ve produced throughout the years. This project was also the first to spike my interest in public housing.
Maiden’s Village
The design was developed through the aggregation of a 3-bay unit, a 4-bay unit, and a 5-bay unit. The units were arranged in order to create terraces or double height terraces for almost all units. The basement and ground floor hold the amenities and the roofs of the inner facing units serve as gardening space. Maiden’s Village was done in collaboration with Catrina Nelson and Ernesto Cabrera.
