Anisah Khandakar
Anisah has recently (2021) graduated from the Digital Design Program at NJIT. She has started working at the Littman Library from her freshman year and gained many opportunities from her experience there. She is currently working as a Resident Creator at VanerMedia, New York. In her spare time, she is also working with a startup company, as the Chief Creative Officer, known as Spotlist Inc. Fun fact: she is always working!
Emil Hristov
Emil Hristov is the founder and CEO of domaselo, a social commerce platform for artisanal food. He is also the founder of newhaus which manages and acquires residential real estate and converts them into short-term rentals. Previously Emil founded solar and construction companies which were focused on government-funded projects in NJ, NY, and MA. Emil earned an MBA degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Architecture from NJIT.
Emily Guttierez
Emily attended both the Interior Design and MArch programs at NJIT, graduating virtually in May of 2020. She is at the beginning of her career, working at Clarke Caton Hintz in Trenton as an architectural designer
Jeff Groves
Jeff, like many other makers, was raised on a steady diet of Legos, K’nex, erector sets, and whatever building materials he could get his hands on. Between taking things apart and (sometimes) putting them back together Jeff found his passion in life. After attending the University of South Carolina for two years as a mechanical engineer, Jeff sought out a more hands-on approach to physics in the field of industrial design. At the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Jeff excelled as an industrial designer, placing in design competitions and being selected for scholarly awards on multiple occasions. He is the founder and former chairman of the school’s IDSA chapter. Since graduating from NJIT in 2013, Jeff has worked in a variety of consumer product industries as a product design engineer. Primarily working on innovation teams, Jeff has delivered inventive concepts and secured many patents. He is currently employed at Techtronic Industries (A power tool conglomerate that operates the Ryobi, Milwaukee, and Ridgid brands among others) as a Staff Concept Design Engineer.
