Choosing NJIT was one of the best decisions of my life. These last five years have taught me how important it is to always push yourself forward, especially when you feel stuck. Studio is the perfect place for this to happen. My colleagues and friends were what kept me going, in tougher moments when I just wanted to quit. We have all experienced this, which is why studios become like families. Five years of architecture school taught me to always keep growing.
Four Freedoms Foundation
In my last semester I took my Integrated Studio with Michael Zdepski. Despite having to move to online classes halfway through the semester, I believe this was my most successful project to date. This is a design for the Four Freedoms Foundation on Roosevelt Island, which is meant to create a public space that respects both the existing Roosevelt monument, and the historic smallpox hospital.
