I am absolutely elated and forever thankful to be graduating from NJIT with a degree in Digital Design and a minor in User Experience Design. These past four years have been such a journey of growth and discovery, and I would like to thank every single person who helped me along the way -- friends, family, and university faculty. While these four years have certainly not been a walk in the park, the adventure is not over. I cannot wait to venture out into the world, and the HCAD community has given me the confidence and ability to do so without hesitation. I would also like to give a quick shout out to both the Albert Dorman Honors College and the Center for Building Knowledge for providing me with countless opportunities throughout my undergraduate career. eco buddy
As the climate change crisis continues to worsen, I wanted to address the issue by creating a tool to help individuals live more sustainably. For my thesis project, I designed a mobile application that aims to educate, inform, and advise users on the issue of climate change and the small steps they can take in their personal lifestyles to live more environmentally friendly. Eco buddy provides a place for users to log and track their daily environmental impact, stay updated on current climate issues and advancements, get tips on how to live more sustainably, and shop locally for eco-friendly products. This application strives to quantify an individual’s environmental impact and allows users to truly see what a difference they can make for our planet.
