Four Freedoms Foundation

This design for the Four Freedoms Foundation strives to collaborate with the existing Four Freedoms Park to create a popular destination at the southern tip of Roosevelt Island. By relating to the typology of the park in a bold and unique way, and creating a lively plaza for those who make the trip, the complete Four Freedoms Memorial will commemorate FDR’s historic speech while creating a pleasant setting in an otherwise chaotic city.
