Noah Balla
Hi my name is Noah Balla and I am now a proud graduate of the B.Arch program at Hillier College of Architecture and Design (HCAD). I am so happy to have been part of the NJIT Architecture family and I have met so many amazing people here. I had the opportunity to study abroad (briefly) in Innsbruck, Austria and I am grateful for the opportunities and connections NJIT has brought me. Paradise Park Wellness Hub
The intent of this project was to create a Wellness Hub for Columbus Park in Manhattan, NYC. My design features a pedestrian throughway that connects the adjacent streets, allowing people to walk across the park without disturbing the activity within it. The architecture of the form steps down, coinciding with the program on the inside of the building; gymnasium, pool, cafe. This project offers great viewing opportunities of the park with a unique facade system to allow for optimal interior lighting and experience.
