I received my associate’s degree in Architecture & Technology in 2016 and I transferred to NJIT. Transfering to NJIT has been an amazing experience and a long journey for me, with all the sleepless nights I found myself wondering what if this was a mistake or if I should have chosen a different major, but with all the help from my family, colleagues and professors, I came out through the other side as a graduate of NJIT. It was an honor to be part of this journey and congratulations to the class of 2020 & 2021! Job well done.
Block 63 Post-Pandemic Options
The complex includes a 20+-story building containing a mix of between 500 and 600 new residential apartments and blended with approximately 200,000 square feet of public program that includes retail, office, and other attractions. Designs also integrate a 5-story 1,000-space-parking deck topped by a roof garden and will incorporate an abandoned trolley tunnel connecting it to 707 Broad Street building across Halsey. The Covid pandemic has dramatically impacted countless aspects of our world, accelerating many changes already underway, while also illuminating much new possibility. In response, we fully deploy these post-pandemic positions in regard to pedagogy, form, time, and scale.
