My Name is Joanna Khater and I am so grateful for the people I met and the friends I made in the architectural journey at Hillier College. They are truly friends I will have for the rest of my life and memories that will always make me smile. I am also indebted to NJIT for molding me into the interested, ambitious, and dedicated person I am today. I would have never thought I could work as hard as I had if not for the professor that saw the potential all of us had. We did it! Congrats everyone, now let's make a difference!
Barcode Architecture
Exploring archigram and futuristic living, this project uses sensory technology to respond to its inhabitants. With a water tower-like structure and water inflatable living pod walls, this environment is meant to ease inhabitants' minds of any anxiety and provide a stress free home through a fluid and responsive form. This entire system is a closed loop water cycle that has dual functionality in its form, as well as environmental benefits. Pipes that feed the inflatable units run along the exterior of the tower. Water tiles, underground piping, and rain collectors are used to replenish any water that may be lost.
