Emma Collins
Attending NJIT has been an incredible experience for me. Not only have I made many lifelong friends, but I’ve also proven to myself that I am capable of great things. I have developed useful skills in my time at this university, and I plan to develop those skills on a continuum. My hope for the future is to see myself and my peers succeed in our chosen fields, and to give back to everyone who helped me get this far. Balaestra
Balaestra is an original short film concept created by Kaylin Wittmeyer and myself. It is a fairytale that deals with intergenerational unity, grief, and atonement. I was responsible for designing all props. This included both concepting and 3D production. Over the course of our final semester, Kaylin and I sought to lay the groundwork for an animated short, and to get a feel for the earliest parts of the 3D animated film production pipeline.
