Adriane Magadia is a passionate designer interested in exploring iterations of architecture at various scales through physical experimentation and representational drawing. Alongside studying architecture, he has explored other design disciplines through various electives such as furniture design, robotics in architecture, digital fabrication, product design, and watch design. On the side, he also spends his time as a freelance tailor and tote bag designer/ manufacturer. Adriane is also a member of the American Institute of Architecture Students organization (AIAS) where he served as communications director within NJIT’s AIAS chapter and is part of the advising committee of his former high school, High Tech High School, architecture department within the Academy of Design and Fabrication. He believes that everything relates back to architecture at various scales. If architecture is about designing ways in which things come together, then to him, everything is architecture. Future Typology: Live/Work
Exploration of a typological framework model for the future of an un-domestic programmatic display in a live, work, and leisure setting through a systematic hierarchical aggregation of offset surfaces. A condition where spaces mediates a balance between “fixed” spaces and conventional objects. Whereas the framework’s definition of use changes over time based on the objects that dwell within them by the users. Through these incremental offsets, it blurs the lines between vertical circulation, seating, and storage.
