Fire has been a necessity for humankind survival. As a result, the fireplace became a prominent space in the home to not only keep warm, but to cook and socialize. But as time progresses, all the characteristics of the fireplace have been forgotten since now its been replace by the HVAC. People would seat around it and chat, now the Technology has caused people to disperse. A place that once used to preserve energy and gathering, the fireplace has become merely an ornament. The idea is to bring back the fireplace as a radiant core that can serve for multi-purpose usage and social locus.
