The project immerses visitors of Liberty State Park into a foreign environment as they traverse their way to their favorite spot in the park. Their first interaction with the project may not be their most transformative experience with it, however. The project is different every day, every month, and every year, as it operates according to a ‘smart weather system’ dependent on climatic conditions of the day, time and physical location. As a result, the project serves first as a visual reminder for these changing conditions; then as the visitor walks through, it draws the attention of the other senses through its pragmatic functions in monitoring and stabilizing the health of the freshwater wetlands.
