What if we were to re-imagine death as a process of regeneration and continuity rather than an ending? what if after our bodies were no longer functional in a "life" sense, they could still serve to improve the environments we occupy? My design concept implies these questions to develop a typology that responds to the pressing problems common in dense urban areas such as graveyard sprawl, carbon and toxic emissions caused by cremations, lack of access to dignified last right/ rituals for the urban poor, and phenomenon of neglected remains.
