Traditionally, the act of cooking has been done behind the scenes. However, current trends in architectural design have begun to recognize that food and its preparation are at the heart of much of our lives. Kitchen designs are expanding and opening up to display what was once done behind closed doors. This project follows this trend in hopes of benefiting both the students and the residents of Newark.
