The New York Geo-Museum sits above the newly designed NYC Ferry Terminal pier in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The pier creates an experience of walking through a canyon-like path as you are directed towards the landing area. Surrounding the pier are megalithic concrete supports rising out of the water holding up the museum. These massive supports help provide the experience of walking through a canyon. The museum educates visitors and provides informative exhibits on the different geological and natural formations of New York State.
