This project is about encouraging children to engage in mimicking adult gardening behaviors, leading to imaginative play and a life long appreciation for gardening. Much like toy kitchens and tool sets, this toy is smaller, more kid friendly version of a mundane object used by adults. The felt fruit and vegetable can be picked and un-plucked by unbuttoning and re-buttoning them. The interactive nature of this toy encourages children to use it in many different ways, leading to hours of creative play.
