College of Architecture and Design Community
As designers, we aspire to better the conditions of human life – to elevate the spirit, stir the emotions, engage the intellect, and improve the quality of human experience. Our students, faculty and alumni bring this enthusiasm not only to their professional and academic pursuits, but to their everyday experiences. Our students participate in School- and University-wide organizations and activities – several of which were initiated by the students themselves. They also engage in cultural and community service activities in Newark and the New York Metropolitan area, cultivating a sense of social responsibility and expanding their world view. We are fortunate to have a talented, dedicated faculty from a broad range of design disciplines committed to the School’s mission and the pursuit of excellence. We gratefully acknowledge the time and dedication of our alumni and industry friends, whose active involvement has been invaluable to the School.
This spirit of fellowship and excellence inspires the COAD community and enriches the experience of the entire NJIT population.
